For those future UConn ECE students who successfully completed their application, good job, but please remember that you must now use your NetId to enroll in your ECE courses prior to June 29. For students looking to enroll in Classical Mythology, the course will not appear inside UConn’s database until the fall. Also, for students who missed the application window, but are still interested in enrolling in the ECE program, there is an add/drop window in the fall, but that comes with an additional fee. Please contact Mr. Wry in Guidance with any questions.

The Media Center will be closed on Monday, June 11 after school from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Please plan accordingly.

If the idea of making a difference in the world excites you, get involved in the Make a Difference Program this summer at the South Windsor Community Center. Join in 3 nights of giving back to the community. You will participate in fun and cooperative games, learn about a local organization in need and DO SOMETHING to help them. The group meets August 14 through August 16 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A light dinner is provided each night. Register at Eventbrite by searching “Make a Difference – South Windsor.” Flyers for this program are hanging in the Career Center.

If you are a “techie” looking for a summer internship, the Town of South Windsor’s Information Technology has an opportunity for you. This paid internship requires an individual who can update and install machines, maintain equipment inventory, and create “how to” documents among other tasks. A flier with information on hours, wages and how to apply is hanging in the Career Center.

Reminder… Honor Roll Assembly certificates are in the Main Office. Stop by to pick up yours if you did not attend the ceremony. They’ll make a great Father’s Day gift!
