Today is Day 2 of “Safe Teen Driving Awareness Week”. Safe teen driving is all about making smart choices. One wrong decision can change your life and the lives of others forever. The leading causes of teen crashes are:
Driver inexperience
Driving with teen passengers
Nighttime driving
Not using seat belts
Distracted driving
Drowsy driving
Reckless driving
Impaired driving
Fact: Did you know that almost half of all teen deaths from motor vehicle crashes occur between 3:00 pm and midnight and approximately 53% occur on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? Please recognize these causes and remember to “Drive 4 Tomorrow”.
