SCHOOL NEWS:

Parking: As a reminder to all SWHS drivers, Wapping is not available for student parking. All students without a parking pass must park in upper or lower Duprey. Within the Duprey lots students must park within the lines and in official spots only. Any student parking outside of a spot, on the grass, in an aisle, or outside of the lines is subject to being ticketed or towed by the town of South Windsor. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

For students attending Junior Prom:
In order to attend Junior Prom, students must be in school for at least 50% of the school day. Students who arrive at 7:25 a.m. are eligible to be dismissed at 10:05 (after period 4). A link to a Google form will be emailed to parents on Tuesday. Please make sure your parents complete this form in order to grant you permission to be dismissed from school early.
For those students who arrive after 7:25 a.m., please be advised that it is important for you to be in school for at least half of the school day in order for your attendance at  Junior Prom to be in good standing.  Failure to do so will prohibit your ability to attend. Advisors and administrators will be checking attendance throughout the day to ensure that all students attending Junior Prom meet these requirements.
Junior Prom will be held at the Marriott in Hartford, CT.  All students will have their bags checked upon entry into the venue.
Please know, the latest students can enter Prom is 7:00 p.m. Any student(s) arriving after that time will not be permitted. In addition, once students decide to leave Prom for the night, they will not be readmitted.
