Attention students: the Media Center will be closed on Wednesday, May 9 during Periods 3 and 4 for testing. Please plan accordingly. 

If you are a senior attending the senior outing to Holiday Hill and need to take the early bus, you must print and return the Early Bus Form to Miss Griswold in Room 227 no later than May 16. The early bus will leave at 2:30 pm from the outing. The Early Bus Form can be found on the Class of 2018 website and Google Classroom page.

Bobcat foodies… we'll be planning tomorrow in Room 105 for our summer favorites and cool treats menu for our final cooking club session this year. See you there.

Student Council will meet tomorrow at 2:10 pm in Room 163 for anyone interested in a leadership position next year. We will discuss Student Council elections for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. New members and students interested in joining Student Council are welcome to come. If you cannot attend, please see Ms. Ullinger in the Social Studies office at some point prior to the meeting for an online application.

Athletic News:
The girls’ golf team improved their record to 2-3 yesterday with a 26 shot win over East Lyme. Meghna Mazumdar was medalist with a 55. Carolyn McCullough was 2nd 1 shot behind. Aayushi Patel and Amala Mammayil played well. 

The Boys’ Golf team beat their best team score by 10 strokes shooting a 156 at Topstone making their record to 4-4 for the season beating Rockville. The Bobcats were led by team medalist Jared Walter’s 37 followed by Melek Israel’s 38, Owen Pelleteir’s 40 Melek and Samay Govani’s 41.

Congratulations to the boys’ volleyball team for earning the win last night at Rockville. The JV won 2-0 and Varsity won 3-1. The team will travel to another out-of-league match when they play at NFA tonight. Good luck to the team, and we hope to see you there.

Boys’ tennis played a very close competitive match against E.O. Smith but lost by the score of 3-4. Abhiram Gunti, Rahul Mahesh, Sanjiv Choksi and Jonathan Huot stepped up and played very well in their spots. Winning for South Windsor was #1 Singles Brandon Sze, #2 Doubles Elijah Wood & Sanjiv Choksi and #3 Doubles Andris Reba & Jonathan Huot.

Tuesday the team will be completing their rescheduled match against Hall at home. The team could use your support to bring home a win.
