The South Windsor Gay Straight Alliance Day of Silence is coming up on Tuesday, May 22. Participants will take a vow of silence for the day in observance of the many voices silenced by bullying and harassment. If you want to show your support for the LGBTQ community but don't feel like you can be silent for the day, the GSA will be selling ribbons and bracelets before school in the lobby and during lunch waves this week -- wear one to show your support. Any students wishing to participate in the Day of Silence should see Mrs. Knapp in Room 148 no later than Thursday, May 17 to sign up.
