Anyone who participated in the first or second session of the bowling and wants to be in the group photo for the yearbook should report to the lobby during homeroom this Thursday, March 28. Please see Mr. Gray in room 168 if you need a pass or have any questions.

On Friday, March 29, Rho Kappa will be hosting a Women’s History Month Movie marathon in the auditorium. Come from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm to watch the movies Hidden Figures and League of their Own. There will be free pizza and food!

Any Senior who has signed up to present their Capstone on Wednesday, March 27 can find their time slots and room numbers posted on Mr. Richard's Capstone Google Classroom and off of the Capstone Website. A representative from the University of Maine will be here Thursday morning to meet with students interested in learning more about their school and academic programs. Please sign up in Naviance and see Mrs. Carty for a pass if you are interested in attending.

Seniors – please note the white board outside the Career Center which lists a number of scholarship opportunities with upcoming deadlines. These are just a few of the scholarships you will find listed in Naviance with information on how to apply. Some of the criteria for these include being a student in the Open Choice program, planning to pursue a degree in Education, planning to attend college in CT and more!

Let’s be…Bombara Strong. This Thursday, March 28 let’s show our support for Dr. Bombara by wearing Bombara Strong t-shirts (available for purchase in School Counseling, all proceeds go to cancer research), or the color purple to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer. Dr. Bombara has been a school counselor here at SWHS for 20 plus years and he’s fighting a battle with pancreatic cancer.
