For any student looking to fulfill a community service requirement or get involved with the South Windsor Business Expo, student volunteers are needed to help with the Business Expo to be held at Nomad’s on this Saturday, October 7.  Student volunteers are needed the night before, October 6 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm to help vendors in setting up their booths and on Saturday from 9:00pm to 4:00pm to direct both vendors and visitors to the fair as well as hand out give-away bags, etc.  The Expo welcomes students who could work a shift of a couple of hours or the entire day on Saturday.  This would be a wonderful opportunity to have students see how businesses market their business to the public.  Volunteers could call the Chamber of Commerce directly at 860-644-9442 or, Cindi Yakoubian, at Ellsworth at 860-291-1256.
