The Bobcat Robotics Team competed in two events over April vacation.  At the Hartford District event, the team ranked third out of 42 teams after 12 rounds of qualifications.  The pit crew worked hard to fix the robot damaged by tough defense against our high scoring robot.  The team fell in the quarterfinals, but qualified for the New England Championships this past weekend.  At the New England Championships, the team faced some difficult challenges but rose to the occasion.  They were picked as a 5th seed alliance, making it to the quarter finals.  The team was one of over 30 teams out of over 200 from New England to qualify for the World Championships in Detroit, Michigan later this month where they will compete with teams from the US, Canada, Russia, Israel, India, Chile and more.  Congratulations and Good Luck to Team 177 Bobcat Robotics!
