Attention all grade 10-12 students. The ASVAB is coming to SWHS tomorrow, Friday, November 22nd at 7:30 a.m. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is the Military's skill assessment test, which helps students uncover their strengths and what careers both within and outside the Military those strengths align with. This test is a free service for SWHS students. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB please sign up in the School Counseling Office.

DECA will be collecting gently used coats for those in need until the end of this week. Please bring in your coats and put them in the box outside of the cafeteria. See Mrs. Barrett with any questions. Thank you for your support!

The 3rd Annual Holiday Hoopla Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at South Windsor High School. This event benefits South Windsor High School's graduating class for Operation Graduation (a drug and alcohol free safe fun filled night for our graduating seniors). This year the Holiday Hoopla will have over 100 crafters, vendors, and local authors. Come get a head start on your Christmas decorating or shopping to find that perfect gift or stocking stuffer and support your small local businesses! Admission is FREE.

The Sophomore Class of 2022 is hosting a fundraiser at a local smoothie and juice bar on Sullivan Ave this Saturday, November 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. When you come, make sure to tell them that you're supporting the class of 2022. Thank you for your support!

FCCLA is also holding a benefit night at a local pizza restaurant in Evergreen Walk on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please come out and support us! 

FCCLA is holding a toy drive to help surrounding communities in need! Please bring in new, unwrapped toys and put them in the boxes in the lobby and cafeteria hallway by Tuesday, December 10th!

Do you have an interest in the dental field? If you have thought about being a dentist, hygienist, researcher or working in dental sales or administration, you are invited to come to the Career Center on Friday, December 6th at 1:00 p.m. to hear from Dr. Kevin Norige. Dr. Norige is a local dentist who will offer a presentation on the dental field using props and visuals and will answer any questions students may have. This opportunity is posted in Naviance with other college visits – sign up today if you are interested!
 
Attention Seniors: Don't forget that the gift card fundraiser is going on until next Tuesday, November 26th. Orders must be turned in before school, between periods, or from 2:00 - 2:30 p.m. by Tuesday, November 26th to Ms. Andrews in room 234C or Mrs. Mazzonna in room 264. You MUST HAND YOUR ORDERS DIRECTLY to Ms. Andrews or Mrs. Mazzonna. Do not leave them on a desk or hand them to anyone else.
