The South Windsor Sophomore Class of 2022 is selling maroon and gold bracelets next week during all lunch waves. They cost $6 and there is a limited supply, so make sure that you buy them fast.

Seniors: Do you need time to work on your college essay? How about Capstone? Come to our Senior write-in this Friday, December 13th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in room 134. We will have writing tutors and snacks! If you have any questions, please see Ms. Pieratti or Mrs. Howard.

Mind's Eye will be hosting a Holiday Coffee House this Wednesday, December 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room. Join us for a night of poetry, music, and more! Refreshments will be available for a suggested $1 donation. Hope to see you there!

There is a fiber drive being held through December! Please bring in any old socks, shirts, or clothing with holes in them that can no longer be worn, and drop them off in the box outside the cafeteria or office. This is a great way to recycle fibers and help the environment.

Having trouble in one of your classes? National Honor Society students are here to help! They offer free tutoring in any subject with flexible hours. To request a tutor, go to the NHS website on the Clubs and Activities page and fill out the Google Form.

Come join us to see the SWHS Winter Instrumental Concerts! The Winter Orchestra Concert will be held this Wednesday, December 11th at 7:00 p.m. The Winter Band Concert will be held this Thursday, December 12th at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are sold online or at the door. Open to the public!

This past weekend, 212 students from SWHS participated in the World Affairs Council Model UN at the University of Hartford. Over 1100 students from 35 different high schools participated in the event. Our students were collaborative, innovative and diplomatic, representing our school proudly. In recognition of our efforts, SWHS students took home 3 of the 10 potential awards for best delegation! Special congratulations go out to: Andrew Bell, Anthony Chen, Faizdeen Pathan, Aryan Kalia, Van Anh Tran, Joanne Biju, Sophia Chin, Armina Sarin, Dhanush Kotumraju, Keshav Ramesh, Gautam Chasmawala, and Dhanya Chasmawala.
