SWHS Students and Parents, good news, yearbook signing IS NOT cancelled! We are excited to announce that our SWHS yearbook signing tradition is alive, and it’s fully digital to suit our socially distanced students. Jostens provides Yearbook Digital Signing Pages, an interactive experience that results in a printable permanent keepsake. This VIDEO   https://youtu.be/RKztqaMO_WA  shows the process. You are NOT REQUIRED to participate. If you do choose to do this, we ask that you use your personal email (not your apps.southwindsorschools.org account) to set up your account. Students, you have the ability to delete any unwanted or inappropriate comments on your pages. PLEASE do not post your link on social media. Instead, we suggest that you control who gets your link.  Here’s the sign in page: yearbooksigning.jostens.com   Please let the yearbook editorial staff know if you have any questions or if we can assist you: [email protected]

Please be sure to return all borrowed library materials on your assigned drop off day. To see what materials you have checked out, log into Destiny from the library homepage and check the My Info tab. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. McCool.

Attention all Athletes: Please remember to bring your uniform to your assigned drop off day.

Attention all Seniors: Your drop off days are Wednesday, June 10th and Thursday, June 11th.  Don’t forget to bring your chromebooks and chromebook chargers, textbooks, athletic uniforms, library books, and any other school-issued items. If you do not return these items you will not receive your diploma! Click here for the Senior Drop Off Checklist.

Attention Underclassmen: Your drop off days begin Friday, June 12th and go until Monday, June 22nd. Please check the schedule, emailed to families by Mr. Rizzuto to see what day and time you should report to the high school.

Attention students taking ECE Environmental Science or ECE Marine Science next year. There is NO summer work, other than spending as much time outdoors as possible. If you have further questions, please email Mrs. Field.

In response to our transition to distance learning, SWHS School Counseling has created a blog where you can find updated COVID-19 related policies sent to us from CollegeBoard, local universities, military branches, various employers, etc.  We will also include helpful SWHS student information and announcements. Find the link on the School Counseling page of the SWHS website. Even better - you can subscribe to the blog with your e-mail address to be notified when new content is posted!

If you're looking for a good book to read or listen to, don't forget to check out the Library Media Center's webpage. All students and staff have 24/7 access to hundreds of ebooks and audiobooks. Email Mrs. McCool if you have any specific requests.
