Hey Bobcats!  As our national news reports on numerous social injustices and racial inequalities, we have a club right here at the high school that wants to confront complicated issues of social justice, racial identities, discrimination and bias, and the many reasons to be proud of our diverse student body. Join the Black Student Alliance as we listen to many student voices sharing deep experiences. Our first meeting is this Thursday, October 22nd at 3:30 p.m. ALL are welcome! Use the Google meet link on google classroom. Our classroom code is: duzv4au.

The Japanese Culture Club meets this Thursday, October 22nd at 2:30 p.m. Google classroom code is wt4upbd.

Need help with a class? Request a FREE NHS tutor to work with you over Google Meet. To sign up, go to the NHS website on the Clubs and Activities page and complete the Google form.

ALL South Windsor students are now eligible to receive a free breakfast and a free lunch provided by the school district. Please stop by the cafeteria on your way into school for your complimentary breakfast and then at lunchtime, stop by your designated serving area to choose your complimentary meal. For distance or hybrid at-home learners, Grab & Go meals are available by the rear entrance of the school near the football field Monday to Friday between 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, October 21st, 9th grade students will participate in PSAT testing. Please come to school with a pencil and calculator. Room assignments are posted on the website. Transportation will only be provided if you requested it. Please arrive at 7:15 a.m., you will be dismissed at approximately 11:15 a.m. 10th and 11th grade students will participate in on-going distance learning from home. Seniors will be able to attend virtual capstone presentations from home. Only 9th graders will report to school. See your school counselor with questions. 

The following virtual college visits are scheduled for this week. Students MUST register for a visit in advance through Naviance in order to receive the meeting link.
