Spirit Week - Cohort Competition: For our atypical “homecoming” week, Student Council and the Bobcat Pride Organization are planning a Spirit Week for all students. We are encouraging you to dress up to find out which cohort - maroon or gold - has the best school spirit! Distance learning students are also encouraged to dress up for their Google Meets. The Spirit Days are as follows:
Maroon Cohort: TODAY, Tuesday, October 27th is SWHS Spirit - rep our school with school colors and spirit!
Gold Cohort: Thursday, October 29th is Hawaiian Day. Friday, October 30th is SWHS Spirit - rep our school with school colors and spirit!
We look forward to seeing you dress up for Spirit Week and this friendly Cohort Competition. Feel free to send pictures masked & dressed in school spirit to the Student Council & BPO social media accounts!

The Freshmen Class of 2024 is having a fundraiser TODAY, Tuesday, October 27th from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at a local pizza restaurant at Evergreen Walk. Please come support your Freshmen Class! See you there!

Respect and Change Everywhere! The R.A.C.E. Committee is looking for students interested in helping celebrate South Windsor High School’s diversity and promote positive change. If you are interested in being part of R.A.C.E. please contact Mr. Zeuschner in Admin 237 or by email by Friday, October 30th.

Italian Club will have its first Virtual Cooking Meeting on Monday, November 2nd at 2:30 p.m. Please make sure that you are a part of our Google Classroom (code: kokgmma) so that you receive the ingredient list and the Google meet link. Contact Mrs. Zaccardelli in 226 with any questions.

The next Science Fiction/Fantasy club meeting is on Thursday November 5th at 2:30 pm.  Join us to do some creative writing.  The code to join the google classroom is 25d3k2e. 

A unique year will make for a very unique yearbook and we need YOUR HELP! We are in need of your pictures and stories. The yearbook staff is covering the following topics right now: how you spent the summer months, the beginning of school, fashion in a hybrid schedule, SWHS clubs, the environment, human interest stories, and fall sports. When you submit a photo, your contact info is required and PLEASE put the names of the people in the picture, a brief description of the event, who took the picture, and your phone number in the “Description” area. Virtual College Visits continue to take place on a daily basis. Students can now use the Zoom links for these visits on their Chromebooks! Please note – when you click on the Zoom link, if you are not directed into the Zoom meeting, look toward the bottom of your screen for a link with text that reads “Join from Your Browser”. This will allow you to attend from your school-issued device. This week’s lineup of colleges includes:
