The Student Council is hosting a canned food drive at the JV and Varsity home boys' basketball games this Friday, February 2nd. Bring 2 canned goods for free admission.
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
The Black Student Alliance is hosting a bake sale at the boys’ basketball games on Friday, February 2nd and Monday, February 5th.
Please come to the next Italian Club Meeting on Wednesday, February 7th right after school in Annex Room 35. We'll be celebrating Valentine's Day, watching a movie, and having snacks. There is no cost for this meeting and all are welcome!
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:
For seniors applying to the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving scholarship program, the deadline has been extended until March 14th to account for delays in the FAFSA application process. This includes both the Joyce Picard and Julie Veilleux scholarships, which are only for South Windsor students. Continue to check Naviance and listen to announcements for any scholarship updates.
The Hartford Hospital summer teen volunteer program will hold an informational meeting on Monday, February 12th. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for all applicants to the program and registration is REQUIRED to attend. You may register until February 5th, but space is limited.
