February is Black History Month. Today, Rho Kappa, the National Social Studies Honor Society honors Condoleeza Rice: Condoleezza Rice was the first African American woman to be US Secretary of State. She was Secretary of State from 2005 to 2009, and prior to this, she served four years as National Security Advisor. As a child, Condoleezza was a prodigy on the piano, and wanted to study it in college before studying politics.

Yoga club will meet Monday at 2:15pm in the Chorus Room to practice yoga. All experience levels are welcome, and you don't need to be a member of the club to attend.

Seniors: If you have done your Capstone presentation but have not submitted the written portion of the project, you must do so by Friday, February 9.  

Sophomores and Juniors… the CATS program is looking for applicants for the 2018-2019 school year. If you are interested, pick up an application outside of Mrs. Frasier's Room 143 and drop it off TODAY. All current members should re-apply via the form on the CATS Google Classroom. 

Athletic News:
The girls’ basketball team’s Coaches vs Cancer game is tonight at home. Come on out and support this great cause!  All proceeds will be going to the American Cancer Society.  

There will be a meeting Friday, February 9 after school in Room 159 for anyone interested in playing softball this spring. This is for both new and returning players.
