Attention to all students who drive to school: Only students with a parking pass may park in the main high school parking lot. All other drivers must park at Dupree. Students are not permitted to park at Wapping or the Community Center.
Attention students 17 and older, please sign up to donate blood this Wednesday, March 7th. Over 30 million blood transfusions are needed in the US each year, and your donation can help to save 3 lives! The link to sign up will be available on the Junior and Senior Google classroom, the High School Home page, and you can sign up during all lunch waves today and tomorrow. Seniors who plan to attend college next year have many options for scholarships, but deadlines are approaching fast. Two scholarships that close this week are the CCMC Isidore Wise Scholarship for students who have ever been a patient at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and the Journalism Education Foundation of New England scholarship for students planning to study journalism or a related field. Both scholarships are listed in Naviance. Students should also be finishing up their Dollars for Scholars applications. The portal will close in 10 days. To help troubleshoot any issues, the South Windsor coordinator for the program will be in the Career Center on Wednesday from 9:00 am - 10:30 am. Please stop in if you need any help.
Yoga Club will meet today at 2:15 pm in the Chorus Room to practice yoga. All are welcome to come practice yoga with us.
Open Auditions for the award winning South Windsor Show Choir Choral Spectrum will be held TONIGHT at 5:00 pm in the auditorium. Materials are on the school website under the Music Department or on Google Classroom; use code ea311i.
Interact Club is sponsoring a basketball tournament on March 29 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm to help aid Puerto Rico’s recovery efforts. There will be prizes, snacks, and fun.
