Good morning! Our school recently introduced a new Student of the Month program and the first students of the month from each grade have been selected! Earlier in October, teachers nominated students who they thought demonstrated excellence in civic, social, and academic behaviors. Here are some quotes from teacher nominations:
"This student is a class leader who is willing to help anyone. He is always ready to get a group started or offer support when things get difficult. His leadership and ethical behavior is essential to the success of his classmates every day."
"Recently, this senior's soccer season was ended by an injury suffered on the field. Through her ordeal, she has remained a positive contributor to her team, demonstrating resiliency, leadership, and an outstanding attitude overall."
And now, here are the Students of the Month for October:
From Grade 9: Riley Donahue and Nolan Goodale
From Grade 10: Christina Pratt and Jonathan Rossetti
From Grade 11: Dakota Skinner and Jared Caroline
From Grade 12: Rachel Coulter and Elliot Bushman
Congratulations to each of these outstanding students!

Come see the South Windsor High School Fall Musical, "Annie," Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, November 9, 10 or 11. Cast and Crew are excited to share their hard work with you. There are great songs, super dances, funny scenes, and a real dog! Come check it out! Students are only $10.
