COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:
SENIORS: A Manchester Community College Representative and a US Army Recruiter will visit the Career Center on 4/29. Please sign up via the Google Form in your email sent by Mr. Wry.
ATHLETICS:
Girls Track and Field lost to Windsor last week, but had many competitive performances. First places were had by Madie Cunha in pole vault, Mallory Mead in javelin and high jump, and the 4X400 team of Gabbie Fisher, Peyton Bennet, Kayleigh Thornton and Elsa Gately. Second place finishers were Sofia Holovatska in the 800, Jaya Pichay in the 100 and 200, Krista Mogor in high jump, and Sadhana Ganesan in triple jump.
Your boys’ tennis team earned an impressive 6–1 victory over Tolland last Thursday! Special shoutout to newcomer Sohan Patro, who picked up his first varsity win—way to go, Sohan!
The Bobcats are back in action this afternoon against Lewis Mills at 3:45 at Wapping Courts. Come out and show your support—let’s go, Bobcats!

Are you interested in historical stories about chemistry, medicine and workers rights? The SWHS Drama department proudly presents Radium Girls, D.W. Gregory’s gripping drama based on the true story of female laborers who were poisoned and killed by their factory’s radium-based paint during the 1920's. Shows run this Friday at 7PM and Saturday at 7PM. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for students. The link to purchase can be found on the SWHS website.
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
The Environmental Club is hosting a Trees for a Change fundraiser. Have a tree planted in your name at a National Park! Each tree is $15. Money raised will benefit wildlife that has been impacted by the L.A wildfires. See Mrs. Eitel for details.

The Cooking Club will celebrate Spring in Bloom on Thursday, April 24th, in Room 105 at the High School from 2:05PM - 4:00PM. We will be making: Pink Peep Punch, a Hummus Garden with carrots, celery and red bell pepper strips for dipping, Egg Muffin "Hatchlings", Margarita Pizza with fresh basil, Bird Nest cookies, Cherry blossom cookies and Banana Pudding Parfaits. Please bring $5 to Sra. Ruiz in Annex Room 56 or to Sra. Hwang in Annex Room 37.

Attention seniors, today is the last opportunity to make senior payments. We are collecting from 12:50-2:30pm in the Main Lobby.
Are you a SWHS student who rides the bus to and from school? If you are, today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! To help celebrate this day your Interact Club handed out flowers and appreciation cards to each school bus driver at morning drop off. If you are riding a bus home, please take a moment to communicate your own appreciation for the safety they provide us as we travel to and from school each day! Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day!

ATHLETICS:
Girls Track and Field won their second meet of the season against Tolland 127 to 28. First place finishes were had by Sadhana Ganesan in 100 hurdles and triple jump, Jaya Pichay in the 100 and 200, Sofia Holovatska in the 1600 and 800, Bella McKenna in 300 hurdles, Maddie Cunha in pole vault, Mallory Mead in high jump and javelin, Nayana Pradeep in discus and the 4x800 team Sofia Holovatska, Rachel Matchesyk, Nora Cayward, Emily Gamble and 4X100 team Jaya Pichay, Gabrianna Knowles, Juliana Mayer, and Ava Liliburn.

We recommend that you attend the multicultural fair where we will be celebrating on April 9th from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. Thank you!
