Attention seniors, the first round of in-person collections for Senior Dues is here. We will be collecting Wednesday, February 5th, during all 6th period lunch waves in the Cafeteria, and Thursday, February 6th from 12:50-2:30 in the Main Lobby. CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
The HOPE club is hosting a guest speaker event on Thursday, January 30th after school in the Seminar Room. Our guest is a physician's assistant who specializes in cardiology. Bring any questions you might have about your potential career in medicine! See the HOPE club google classroom and flyers posted around the school for more information.
The Sexuality and Gender Alliance, SAGA, will hold our next meeting after school on Monday, February 3rd, in Room 129. Hope to see you there!
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:
If you are interested in the military, and specifically the CT Air National Guard, there will be a representative in the Career Center to meet with you on Friday, February 7th at 10 AM. Please sign up in Naviance if you are interested to attend!
For students interested in health related careers, this is a reminder that there are TWO upcoming programs that will help you learn how to prepare for them. On February 12th, the CT Area Health Education Center will have Public Health Ambassadors here to talk about careers in health and technology. And on March 7th, the UConn School of Nursing will present to interested students about their Early Intro to Nursing program. Students can sign up for both of these programs in Naviance.
