The SWHS Math Team Tournament will be hosting a virtual escape room event TODAY at 2:30 p.m. Hop on with your friends and test your skills of mathematical deduction by exploring a virtual, interactive escape room and (hopefully) escaping before the time runs out!  New teams are always welcome; join the Google Classroom with 7m5sgvy to sign up your team.
 
SADD Club presents BE THE LIGHT a Virtual 5K! Let’s shine the light on safe decisions! This 5K fundraiser is for SWHS Staff and Students ONLY. $15 Registration includes a t-shirt. You can run or walk at the location of your choice anytime between Thursday, April 15th and Sunday, April 25th. All participants will be entered into a raffle for 2 gift cards. Curtain UP! The fully digital South Windsor High School musical production, "Pandemonium 2020," will premiere on Friday, May 7th! The cabaret-style show features nine talented students performing short, original scenes and songs from the American musical theatre canon. Save the date! 
 
Do you have gently used clothes, shoes or stuffed animals that you would like to donate to a good cause? The SWHS Softball Team is collecting items for a Savers fundraiser. Through April the team will collect clothes, shoes, stuffed animals, accessories and household linens. To schedule a pick up, please contact a softball player or email [email protected]

The CT River Museum presents STEAMgirls, a free virtual event for girls who are interested in studying Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. A local landscaping company is hiring for the spring and summer. Part-time hours are available now for after school and weekends, but work can be full-time for the summer. No experience is necessary as the company is willing to train on all landscaping jobs. Pay is $14 per hour with the opportunity to earn more based on hard work. If you are interested in applying, see the flyer in the Career Center or contact Mrs. Carty for a copy of it.
