COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:

Junior or Senior students interested in attending the United States Senate Youth Program should speak to Mrs. Carty as soon as possible about how to be considered for a school nomination. Two students from Connecticut will ultimately be selected to attend the Washington Week in March. In order to be eligible, students must not have previously attended the program and must be an elected officer of a schoolwide or statewide organization or a student representative selected by a panel, commission, regional or state-level civic or educational organization. Come to the Career Center to indicate your interest, ask any questions, and find out how you can apply to be a SWHS nominee.

This week’s college visits will be from University of Delaware, University of Hartford, Rollins College, University of Connecticut, Seton Hall University, Endicott College, New York University, and Salem State University. Please sign up in Naviance if you are interested in attending. Some visits may be moved to the Seminar Room so please check signage outside the Career Center.
