SCHOOL NEWS:
The Library Media Center carries many award winning, recently published young adult books. Current book genres on display are: Scary Fiction, Banned Books, New Books, and Connecticut Nutmeg Award Books. Come check us out!
Do you need volunteer hours? The South Windsor Community Center needs volunteers for their food drive on November 2nd from 9:30am to 3pm and the SW Parks and Rec Department needs volunteers for their Turkey Trot on November 17th from 10am-3pm. CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
Come to the next Italian Club Meeting on Thursday, November 7th right after school at the playground outside the Annex. We'll be playing bocce and eating pizza outside. Bring $5 to Mrs. Zaccardelli in Annex 35 if you would like to attend and eat pizza
Helping Hands is hosting a donation jar fundraiser at a local coffee shop on Sullivan from October 28th thru November 4th. All donations will go towards homeless shelter bags and retirement center events.
DECA will collect gently used coats from October 25th to November 7th. Boxes will be in the lobby at the high school and in front of Mrs. Barrett's room - Annex 12. All coats will be dry cleaned and handed out to those in need. See Mrs. Barrett with any questions.
