Attention Bobcat Blocks! Student Council is hosting a Bobcat Block Door Decorating Contest during our Holiday Spirit Week! The Theme is: SNOW GLOBE! The decorating period is Monday through Wednesday next week, with doors being judged on Thursday. The winning Bobcat Block will enjoy a catered breakfast after winter break! If your Bobcat Block is interested in participating in this contest, please have your BB teacher fill out the Google Form sent by Ms. Ullinger. This form must be filled out by today @ 3 pm!
There are pet supply donation boxes in the Cafeteria and Annex lobby now thru December 16th. Donations will benefit Our Companions Animal Rescue in Manchester.
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
The HOPE club is welcoming a guest speaker, a nurse with over 20 years experience, TODAY after school in the Seminar Room. For more information, check out the HOPE club google classroom or the flyers posted around the school.
The Water Launch Club's first organizational meeting is on Thursday, December 12th right after school in Annex Room 35. Join our Google Classroom with code: nkglssx. We aim to provide clean and safe water across villages in Sub-Saharan Africa by working with and fundraising for The Water Project, a non-profit organization. We will be selecting leadership positions and deciding on our fundraisers for this year.
The Sexuality and Gender Alliance’s December meeting will be a Holiday Party on Monday December 16 after school in Room 129. Come by to enjoy food and a holiday movie!
FBLA is hosting a Holiday cookie decorating fundraiser. Entrance fee and first cookie is $5, every cookie after that is $3.
Looking for last-minute holiday gifts? The Indian Heritage Awareness Club is hosting an earring fundraiser! To place an order for their handcrafted earrings, please fill out the google form, which can be found on the grade-level google classrooms and QR codes found on posters around the school. The last day to order is December 13th. We will be delivering the earrings on December 18th during Bobcat Block. Please contact Hiteshree Dirisala or Sudeeksha Sajjana with any questions.
ATHLETICS:
There will be a girls softball informational meeting this Thursday 12/12 after school at 2:15 pm in Room 102. All girls grades 9-12 interested in trying out for softball this Spring should plan to attend.
