SCHOOL NEWS:
Visit the Library to view the incredible Student Charcoal Art Exhibit currently on display. New book displays include: Women's History Month, March Basketball Madness, It's Not Easy Being Green, and as always, many new fiction and nonfiction titles.
Sign up to donate blood on Friday, March 21 during school. Every donation counts. To sign up, scan the QR Code on the posters around school. You must be 17 or older, or 16 with a parent permission slip to donate. See Ms. Karasinski in Room 207 for more information.
The 9th Grade Class of 2028 is having a fundraiser at Hot Table on Tuesday, March 18th from 4 to 9 PM at The Plaza at Buckland Hills. 35 percent of your purchase will be donated to our class.
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
FBLA's 3x3 Basketball Tournament has been cancelled. We did not receive the minimum number of team sign-ups required to proceed with the event. We appreciate the interest shown by those who did sign up.
Do you need help with SAT prep? Mu Alpha Theta and National English Honor Society will be hosting SAT tutoring sessions from 2:15pm to 3:15pm beginning Monday, March 10th in the back of the Library Media Center. These sessions will be held weekly leading up to the SAT.
DECA is collecting new school supplies for kids at the Woodland School in East Hartford from March 10 - March 28. Boxes will be in the front of the school at the Annex and at the High School. Items like pencils, erasers, notebooks, crayons, markers, etc would help a lot!
The Outing Club will be hiking Wadsworth Falls State Park on Saturday, April 5th. Please print the permission slip or stop by Room 254 & 264 to pick one up. Permission slips and payment are due March 26th to Ms. Andrews (264) or Mrs. Lynch (254). See us with any questions.

ATHLETICS:
Anyone interested in trying out for the boys golf team must attend a mandatory meeting after school Monday, February 17th, in Room 168. Please make sure all your paperwork is completed and turned in to the Main Office to be eligible for tryouts. Please see Mr. Gray in Room 168 before the meeting with any questions or concerns.
