Reminder from the Café: As of this Wednesday, any students with a negative balance from breakfast or lunch charges will no longer be able to purchase a la carte items in the cafeteria until the money owed is paid back. If you are not certain of the amount owed, please ask one of the cashiers in the cafeteria for help.

Student Council would like to thank all who attended the first annual Trivia Night. It was a fun successful night with over 80 students in attendance. A big congratulations to the winners and those who placed.

If you are a senior attending the senior outing to Holiday Hill and need to take the early bus, you must print and return the Early Bus Form to Miss Griswold in Room 227 no later than May 16. The early bus will leave at 2:30pm from the outing. The Early Bus Form can be found on the Class of 2018 website and Google Classroom page.

There is a limited supply of School Guide magazines available in the Career Center. School Guide is an annual publication that offers tips and planning suggestions for the college admissions process and also provides an extensive state by state list of colleges and military programs. Juniors who are starting their college search process may find it helpful.  

Hey foodies. Grab your culinary passports because our menu is taking us on a tour of Caribbean and African dishes. We've been making Jamaican beef patties, jerk chicken, a Moroccan lamb stew, Cuban guava cookies, a Botswanan safari-camp cake and so much more. Bring $5 to Ms. Cliff and Sra. Ruiz--we cook on Wednesday.   

The Mind's Eye Coffeehouse originally scheduled for April 26 has been postponed. Please stay tuned for an upcoming date in May--we'd love to see you there.

The library will be closed on Tuesday, April 24 for make-up SAT testing. Please plan accordingly. 

The National Honor Society is hosting an AP exam review tomorrow in the cafeteria. The subjects offered will be: biology, calculus, chemistry, computer science, government, physics, psychology, and US history. Bring your questions, and we hope to see you then.

Interested in joining next year's Model UN leadership team or attending Harvard Model UN? There will be a meeting after school on Wednesday in Room 166. Please see Ms. Simcik if you cannot attend.  

After a tough match against Farmington Boys Tennis came back strong with a convincing win over Tolland 5-2. Singles winners were Ronnak Saxena in straight sets and Parker Pacekonis winning in a 3rd set 10 point tiebreak. Doubles winners were Sam Kim & Donny Sauer, Elijah Wood & Jack Perry, and Jason Rickenbacher & Wayne Huang all in straight set wins. Our first home match is tomorrow against Glastonbury - come out and cheer our team to victory. Go Bobcats.

The girls’ tennis team had a great match Friday, winning 7-0 against Tolland. Singles Sophia Chin and Samantha Donovan, as well as doubles Leah Polansky and Jia Yazon all had double bagels, and it was an outstanding performance by the team overall. Come support the girls at their home match against Farmington after school today.
