Attention Students: Please note that the Media Center will be closed Friday, June 1 from 7:00am -10:30am for testing. Please plan accordingly. 

Seniors: This is a reminder about Senior Reception this Friday and attendance. Seniors and their guests who are absent from school or dismissed early from school on Friday may not participate in ANY after school activities, including Senior Reception, unless they have attended five full periods of school. A student who is dismissed from school for reason of illness may not attend Senior Reception unless the student has relevant documentation and prior administrative approval.   
Students taking the Accuplacer test on Friday, June 1 for the Algebra II with Trig classes should report to their testing locations for first period. Testing locations have been shared in math classes but will also be posted outside the Media Center. All students should bring a picture ID. Students will return to their scheduled classes as they complete the assessment with a pass.  

Fashion Club will meet Thursday after school in Room 7 until 3:00pm. Please make every effort to attend. 

The Olympics are coming to South Windsor! Wednesday, June 6, come out to watch Unified Theater's production of the UT Olympics. Admission is free, and the show begins at 6:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

Last call for the second set of permission slips for Thursday’s field trip to St. Francis Hospital. Please return to School Counseling. All students going on the St. Francis Hospital field trip with Dr. Bombara should meet in the Lobby at 7:50 am Thursday morning.

Honor Roll Assembly certificates are in the Main Office. Stop by to pick up yours if you did not attend the ceremony.

Attention all future UConn ECE students - the ECE Courses for next year are Latin IV, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Classical Mythology, Modern Western Traditions, AP Literature and AP Physics 1. Please remember you must apply for your UConn Net ID by June 1. See Mr. Wry with questions.

Seniors who participated in the Senior Art Show… please remember to take your work out of the Library tomorrow 9:00 pm and Friday by 3:00 pm. Thank you for an excellent show.

Athletic News:
-Field Hockey meeting in Room 152 on Wednesday at 2:10 pm. See Coach Phillips if you cannot attend. 
-The girls’ tennis team defeated Wilton on Saturday in a very close match 4-3 and they traveled to Staples yesterday but came up short and is bumped out of the playoffs. The team ends their season with a 15-2 record. This Saturday, Caitlin Sze and Varsha Rathore will compete in the State Individual Open and doubles team Jia Yazon and Leah Polansky will compete in the State Doubles Open. Great season girls and best of luck at the Open. 

-The boys’ tennis team had an excellent showing as the Class L State Tournament continued yesterday at Amity High School. The doubles team of Elijah Wood & Jack Perry played a tough, seasoned team from Fairfield Ludlowe. Although they did not prevail, they had an excellent competitive match. Seeded #7 Brandon Sze won his third round match against the #12 seed from Notre Dame-West Haven 6-3, 7-5; however, he lost in the quarterfinal round. The doubles team of Parker Pacekonis & Ronnak Saxena played 2 matches, winning both against Guilford and Farmington. These wins advance them to the quarterfinals today at Yale University where they will take on #4 seed from Daniel Hand. Congrats on a great tournament and best of luck today.

-Yesterday, girls’ track competed in the Class L meet. Congratulations to Izzy Erikson who competed in the 3200, Bella Sanchez in long jump and 4X100, Shannon Anthony, Katelyn Macomber and Missy Sullivan in high jump, Micaela Hanson in 100 hurdles, and Muneeka Munir, Erin Dunn and, Kavitha Francis in 4X100.
