For The Sound of Music cast: all nuns and Maria please report to rehearsal today, Wednesday, August 29 in the auditorium after school for Act 1, Scenes 1-4. Bring your scripts.
The UCONN Early College Experience Courses for this year are AP Lit, Modern Western Traditions, AP Econ, Classical Mythology, Latin IV, Environmental Science, Marine Science and AP Physics 1. ECE is a program where students take UConn classes while at SWHS and receive college credit good at UConn as well as almost every other college in the country. College Credit is only received if you sign up correctly. The LATE Application deadline is September 14, and the LATE Enrollment deadline is September 28. There is an extra $25 fee during this time period for all classes except AP Econ and Classical Mythology. Please see UConn’s website or Mr. Wry for more details.
Athletic News:
-Attention all girls trying out for the volleyball team. There are no tryouts today. The tryouts for 10, 11, and 12 graders that were given an invitation letter to return will report to the gym Thursday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. All grade 9 athletes will also finish their tryout from 3:00pm to 5:00pm tomorrow. Any questions, contact Coach Holt.
