Seeing footage and hearing stories about the devastation from Hurricane Harvey has left many of us counting our blessings and wondering how we can help. On Thursday morning, our school will try to fill a truck with donations to help victims in Houston. We are collecting household goods (blankets, air mattresses, batteries, flashlights), baby items (diapers, baby food, formula, bottles, clothes, wipes), non-perishable food (please nothing in glass and things that are easy to open, such as: water, Gatorade/Powerade, canned foods, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, granola bars, crackers, rice), clothing (sweatshirts, pants, new socks or underwear), and personal items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, body soap, deodorant, feminine products, toilet paper, razors). Donations will be accepted Wednesday and Thursday morning before 8am. Please bring them to the Main Office meeting room. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Howard or an Interact officer for clarification.
