Seniors: There is a new group of scholarships with April deadlines waiting for you in Naviance!  Highlights include the NEACAC scholarship, the ECHN scholarship for students pursuing health fields, South Windsor Little League’s awards for students who are former players, the brand new William Perry scholarship exclusively for a South Windsor student who has achieved academic success while being a student leader, and the JE Shepard award from the Jaycees for students who embody integrity and spirit in their community.  Check out these and so many more in Naviance and see Mrs. Carty if you need any help finding applications.

The NACAC Spring College Fair takes place today and tomorrow at the Connecticut Convention Center.  For more information, visit www.GoToMyNCF.com.

Juniors:  Are you interested in serving on the State of Connecticut Board of Education?  This highly coveted position would have you working with State of Connecticut political leaders in helping shape and develop educational policies and lend a student perspective to lawmakers.  These state level meetings take place one Wednesday a month in Hartford for the entire school day.  See Mr. Wry in Guidance if interested. 

The Science Fiction / Fantasy club will hold one meeting in April, which will be Monday, April 15, the day we return from April break.  Join us in room 127 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm to watch and discuss Maze Runner.

Copycats would like to congratulate our employee of the month, Stephen Marsh!  Stephen is being recognized for his on the job performance and his willingness to communicate with others. Congratulations, Stephen!

A representative from Fairleigh Dickinson will be in the Career Center today at 11:45 am to speak to students who are interested in hearing about their programs and campus life.  If you would like to attend, sign up in Naviance and come to the Career Center for a pass.

Athletic News:

Varsity and JV Girls Lacrosse both defeated Farmington 13-3 in great team wins. They will play Berlin at home on Thursday.
