Seniors: If you are looking for help starting or completing your college applications and essays, come to an open workshop in the Career Center next week on Monday and Thursday. School Counseling staff will be available Monday during 8th period and after school and Thursday after school to help you with your CommonApp, college essay, and all of your college application question. No appointment needed – drop in when you can.

Don't forget that the first Model UN meeting is after school today in the back of the Media Center.

The Teens Against Poverty is a new club this year at SWHS, helping end poverty in the local area. Join this great community service opportunity TODAY, Wednesday, September 11th in room 141 for the first meeting. At the first informational meeting, we will discuss how the club functions and all the opportunities you have to participate. There will be snacks. If you are not able to make the meeting, please use Google classroom code: glqjpu7.

The History Club will meet TODAY, Wednesday, September 11th at 2:10 p.m. in room 156. See Ms. Battaglio in room 156 with any questions.  

Are you interested in joining the school's largest club? How about helping out your community? Consider joining the Interact Club, South Windsor High School's community service organization. Our first meeting for new and returning members will be held Thursday, September 12th from 2:00 - 2:30 p.m. in the Seminar Room. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Howard in room 134.

The first meeting of Bobcats Vote will be immediately after school Thursday, September 12th in Mr. Garrish’s room. If you have any questions see Braden Migneault or Mr. Garrish.

Gamers Assemble! The Strategy Club will have its first meeting of the year this Thursday, September 12th at 2:00 p.m. in room 7. If you like D&D, board games, or Smash Bros. come check out the Strategy Club.

The Math Team is getting ready to build on its 2nd place finish in the state last year.  Any new or returning members are invited to attend our first Math Team meeting of the year this Friday, September 13th after school in room 265 to discuss the upcoming season. Please see Mr. Brindisi if you cannot attend.

The Sexuality and Gender Alliance, formerly known as the GSA, will hold its first meeting of the year on Monday, September 16th, at 2:00 p.m. in room 148. If you are someone who cares about celebrating and honoring our diverse community, please join us! You do not have to identify as someone from the LGBTQ community to attend -- all allies are welcome. We have many exciting events planned for this year, so come on down to room 148 for some snacks and good conversation and check it out. See Mrs. Stodd Knapp in 148 with any questions.

FCCLA is for you if one of the following applies: You love to cook. You love to bake. You love to sew. You love to design clothing. You love working with children. You are a leader. Or...you need to build your resume! Stop by Wapping room 11 on September 19th for pizza and to see what FCCLA is all about. A club signup list will be posted outside Mrs. Booth's door.

The Outing Club camping and hiking trips for the fall have been planned. Stop by Ms. Andrews' room 234C or Mrs. Lynch's room 254 to pick up permission slips.

Art Club will be holding its first meeting of the year Thursday, September 19th from 2:00 – 3:45 p.m. after school in room 7. New and returning members are all welcome. Art Club is a place for artists to gather, create, explore mediums, share artwork and learn from each other. Please see Mr. Z if you have any questions.
