Interested in a STEM Career? Come on down to the Future STEM Leaders of America Club for STEM experiences, and volunteer and leadership opportunities. Come to the first meeting TODAY, October 2nd at 2:20 p.m. in room 223.

The Computer Science Club will meet TODAY, October 2nd after school in the Media Center Project Room. Everyone is welcome!

The Class of 2021 is selling t shirts for $12 until October 8th. Please get your t-shirt order in as soon as possible. Payments can be made in cash once the shirts arrive. Shirts will be delivered during homeroom. Go to the Class of 2021 Google classroom and fill out the Google form to complete the order. 

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, or FCCLA, will have their first meeting on October 3rd right after school in Wapping room 11. Please join us for pizza and see what we are all about.

The Teens Against Poverty Club is having their whole club meeting Thursday, October 3rd after school in room 141. If you cannot make the meeting, please contact one of the board members.

Colleges visiting the Career Center tomorrow will be Kalamazoo College and Marist College. Please check Naviance for times and to sign up. The United States Air Force Academy will visit this Friday, October 4th at 10:45 a.m.

TAP club has their first upcoming volunteer event at a local food bank/shelter in Manchester on Saturday, October 5th. If interested please sign up on the Google classroom by Friday, October 4th. Anyone interested in one of the cool new TAP t-shirts should fill out the T-shirt form on Google Classroom and bring in $12 to Mr. Webb, no later than Friday, October 11th.

Interact Members, don't forget our October meeting is this Thursday, October 3rd at 2:05 p.m. in the Seminar Room. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Howard in room 134.

FBLA will be meeting after school this Thursday, October 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in room 122B.

A message for all Seniors: Do you have questions about Capstone? We have the answers. Come see Mr. Richards and Ms. Walsh in the cafeteria during PSAT testing on Wednesday October 16th. We will be available from 7:25 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Please bring a charged Chromebook and we can walk you through the Capstone process.  

East Hartford High School is hosting a FAFSA Day this Saturday, October 5th form 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. where students and parents can get help filling out their FAFSA forms. See the flyer in the Career Center for complete details on where to go and what to bring.

Athletic News:

Last Friday, Boys Soccer earned a 3-0 shutout vs. EO Smith. Jonny Rossetti, Nick Gattuso and Junior deOliveira scored for the Bobcats. Mike Pandiscia earned the shutout. 

Last night, Boys Soccer played to a 1-1 tie versus Enfield. They completed dominated all 4 periods but could not come away with the win in overtime. Nick Gattuso scored the only goal for the Bobcats. The boys play again Friday after school at home vs last year's state champion Plainville.

The Varsity Girls Soccer team defeated Enfield yesterday by a score of 7 to 2. Ella Manning turned in another quality 80 minutes. Goals were scored by Emma Smith, Caitlin Sauer and Karly Suppicich. Jordan Roberts, Lindsay Fishman and Rhianna O'Meara added assists and Maria Galley had three saves. The team next plays at Bristol Central on Thursday.

Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball program! Last night they earned another Bobcat, which means that all three teams won in their games against the Enfield Eagles. The freshmen team won 2-1, JV won 2-1 and Varsity needs to won 3-0. Great job Ladies! Keep earning those Bobcats!
