Welcome back Seniors! A friendly reminder that the January Capstone presentation waves are right around the corner. Please check in with your adviser, sign up to present using the Google Form located on the Capstone webpage, and complete your written work by Friday, January 10th. Any senior who does not present their Capstone on Thursday, January 23rd or Friday, January 24th will have a change made to their second semester schedules. These changes may include loss of lockout and being placed in a structured study hall. If you have any questions or concerns please see Ms. Walsh in room 158 or Mr. Richards in room 163.

FCCLA will be holding a benefit night at a local pizza company in Evergreen Walk. Come out and support FCCLA with friends or family from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. TONIGHT, Tuesday, January 7th.

Juniors: Please remind your parents/guardians that Junior Parent Night is tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th at 6:30 p.m. Students should not attend.

South Windsor For The Kids will be selling club shirts this week during all lunch waves. The shirts are $15 and includes the entrance for the dance marathon. For everyone attending the dance, you must buy a shirt. Order forms are on our classroom: v03ocy1 and will be up during lunch.  We will also be selling Pura Vida bracelets for $6 during the week.

Interested in raising money for the American Cancer Society? The Relay for Life Club will hold an information session after school on Thursday, January 9th in room 143. Please see Mrs. Frasier with any questions. All are welcome.

FCCLA members: Our meeting will be held this Thursday, January 9th instead of January 16th. The FCCLA Representative for CT is coming to answer any questions you have about the March 6th competitions. Please come prepared with questions. We will meet at 2:00 p.m. in Wapping room 11.

Conard High School in West Hartford will host a gap year fair featuring both gap year programs and summer opportunities. The event takes place on Thursday, January 9th from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. To pre-register, go to USAGapYearFairs.org/fairs. A flyer about the event is hanging in the Career Center.

The Bobcat Bowling Club is getting ready to roll for session 2. Permission slips will be available in room 168 starting today and are due by January 21st. If you have any questions please see Mr. Gray in room 168.

This is a reminder to all seniors interested in applying for scholarships through Hartford Foundation for Public Giving that the application deadline for their largest pool of scholarships is coming up on Wednesday, January 15th. You can apply at www.HFPGscholarships.org or find the link through the scholarship database in Naviance. One application will allow you to be considered for over 70 scholarships.
