Good Morning Bobcats! Welcome Back!
A few reminders:
• All students must wear a mask- extra masks are available in the Admin Offices, the Nurse’s Office and at the Safety Desk.
• Remember to maintain appropriate social distancing as best as possible while on school property.
• When you arrive at school please proceed directly to class in the morning.
• If you are not feeling well please stay home!
• If you have a period 1,2,7, or 8 study hall make sure to get a late arrival/early release form from School Counseling! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to sleep in or leave early!
• Is your teacher absent today? If so, make sure you login to google classroom to complete all your assignments and the attendance form!
• School Counselors are available by email for all non-emergency items, if it’s an emergency don’t hesitate to go down and see them!
• The Media Center is not available during study halls and is open by appointment only.
For students starting look at colleges or getting ready to apply…. Virtual College visits start next week through the Career Center. These visits will take place at 1 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and throughout the day on Wednesdays. With such unique circumstances surrounding college admissions process, these visits are more helpful and important than ever! Please see Naviance for a complete list of scheduled meetings to find the date and time for any college that interests you. You MUST register for a college visit in order to access the link for the meeting. The link will be available at least 15 minutes before the scheduled visit in the College Visits section of Naviance Student. There are several visits already booked and more adding every day. Please speak to Mrs. Carty if you have any questions.
Students: If you still have library books checked from either TE or the high school, please drop them off at the Library Media Center. There is a book bin right inside the doors to the library.
Attention all Seniors, on Wednesday, September 23rd students will take the SATs at South Windsor High School. Please come prepared with a #2 pencil, calculator, drink, and snack. Transportation will not be provided unless previously requested. Please report to your testing room by 7:15 a.m., testing will end at approximately 12:15 p.m. Lunch will not be served.
