Yesterday, 110 SWHS students were inducted into the World Language Honor Societies - French, Latin, Italian and Spanish. Congratulations to all!

 
Six members of FCCLA competed in the State Competition and each member earned a gold or silver medal in their category. The following students won awards: Aditi Malpure, Samantha Belekewicz, Nadia Siddiqui, Caroline Hegi, Hiba Khan, and Susanna Gerald. Congratulations Bobcats! 

Congratulations to Mrs. Larson and Mrs. Rosano for winning Student Council’s Staffulty of the Month for March! Student Council is now looking for nominations for April’s Staffulty of the Month. Students can nominate faculty or staff - someone who demonstrates kindness, understanding, encouragement, and more through this interesting school year. Curtain Up! The fully digital South Windsor High School musical production, "Pandemonium 2020," will premiere on Friday, May 7th! The cabaret-style show features nine talented students performing short, original scenes and songs from the American musical theatre canon. Save the date!

Seniors: A friendly reminder to check out scholarship opportunities in Naviance, as there are many with upcoming deadlines in the next couple of weeks. Some scholarships include: the JE Shepard Award, the SW Rotary Club Scholarship, the SW Little League Scholarship, the Sgt. Matthew Mainieri Scholarship and the SW Administrator Association Perseverance Award. If you have any questions on how to find these scholarships or apply, please see Mrs. Carty.

A local landscaping company is hiring for the spring and summer. Part-time hours are available now for after school and weekends, but work can be full-time for the summer. No experience is necessary as the company is willing to train. Pay is $14 per hour. See a copy of the flyer in the Career Center or contact Mrs. Carty.

Lowe’s in Manchester is hiring seasonal and part time positions including cashiers, loaders, customer service associates, receiver/stockers, and fulfillment associates.
