The American Mathematics Contest is a national competition involving challenging math problems that we will be administering in February to all students who are interested. The AMC is a contest consisting of 25 challenging multiple-choice problems involving a variety of mathematics. Signups for the AMC will happen over the next couple of weeks in math classes. For students who are interested in taking the AMC or want to explore more before signing up, we will be offering practice tests in the cafeteria today after school. You may bring a pencil, ruler, protractor, and compass if you wish but calculators are not allowed.  No signups are necessary; just meet in the cafeteria by 2:15pm.  The test will start by 2:30pm, and will finish by 3:45pm, followed by a scoring, presentation of solutions, and awards.  If you have any questions, see seniors Carter Cobb or Thomas Strelecky, or Mr. Brindisi in Room 265.
