Unified for Underprivileged Girls is having their last fundraiser of the year on Thursday, June 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at a local Italian ice cream shop. Come out and show your support! All proceeds will be donated to underprivileged pen pals in Kenya. Come join us!

The SWHS Math Team Tournament will be hosting a "Puzzle Rush" where teams race to solve the puzzles within the time limit. This will take place this Friday, June 4th from 3:00-4:00 p.m. This will be the final event of the SWHS Math Team Tournament and prizes will be awarded!   New teams of 2 to 5 are welcome; join the Google Classroom with 7m5sgvy for access to the Google form to sign up your team.

For those students who qualified for Honor Roll this year, you may pick up your honor roll certificates in the Media Center from 7:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. starting today to Friday, June 11th. Certificates that are not picked up by June 11th will be mailed home during the summer.
 
Seniors: Two new scholarships are now available! The South Windsor Soccer Club Scholarship is open to former members of the soccer club who would like to continue their education next year. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded, and applications are due Wednesday, June 16th. The Red Sox Service Scholarship is for seniors who make an impact through service in their community. There will be multiple $1,000 scholarship winners who will be invited to attend a game at Fenway Park. The application is due Friday, June 25th. Both opportunities are listed in Naviance in the scholarship database.
 
ATHLETIC NEWS:
The Boys Tennis Team had their first round match versus Newington on Saturday at East Hartford Tennis Club and were victorious by a score of 5-2! Winning for the Bobcats were Rahul Mahesh and Kevin Joseph in Singles and Anthony Chen & Sri Sripada, Trinayaan Harriharan & Aidan Kieft and Noah Marques & Suri Singaravelu at Doubles. The Bobcats will travel to Darien for a Quarterfinal Match today. Congrats to the team on an awesome win and good luck today!
