SCHOOL NEWS 
 
Need help with a class? The National Honor Society is offering free tutoring! To sign up, fill out the Google form by scanning the QR code on the flyer, OR by going to the NHS website that is linked on the Clubs and Activities page.
 
The 10th grade class of 2024 will be having a fundraiser on Monday, November 1st at a local Mexican grill restaurant located at 48 Hale Road in Manchester, CT, from 4pm to 8pm. Please come support the sophomore class!
 
Join Teens Against Poverty with their first food drive of the year. Please donate non-perishable goods through November 5th. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to donate sealed boxes of cereal, pasta or other basic canned necessities. All proceeds will be delivered to MACC Charities Community Emergency Food Pantry. Bins to drop your donations off will be room 131 and the lobby. For more information join the classroom code 7d5sa60.
 
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

The Strategy Club will meet in-person TODAY, Wednesday, October 27th after school in room 7.
 
Mind's Eye is hosting its first Coffee House of the year on Thursday, October 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the school media center. This is an open mic night where students come to share music, poetry, and other writing! All students are welcome. Refreshments will be provided. Hope to see you there!
 
Want to teach others about crises that move you? Interested in making a difference in the world? Humanitarian Seminar is the club for you! We will be teaching and learning from others about different worldwide, nationwide, or even community crises! We will partner with organizations and fundraise to support causes we care about. Our first meeting will be Friday, October 29th at 2:05 p.m. in room 129. Please join us with Google Classroom code 4tm2l4h.
 
The Italian Club is having its next meeting on Monday, November 1st right after school until the late bus. We will meet in room 226 and go outside weather permitting. Come join us to play bocce, have pizza, and drinks. If you would like to participate, please bring $5 to Mrs. Zaccardelli in room 226 to save your spot. Everyone is welcome!
