SCHOOL NEWS:

The virtual Healthy Smoothie night sponsored by SADD which was scheduled for Wednesday 3/30 has been canceled. Stay tuned for our April events!
 
Transgender Day of Visibility is an annual event celebrating transgender people and raising awareness for discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society. Show your support for the transgender community by wearing pink, white, and blue this Thursday 3/31. Feel free to join SAGA's meeting after school on the 31st in room 148 at 2pm for our regular meeting, and in celebration of our community.  Please see Mrs. Stodd Knapp or Ms. Flachsbart with any questions.
 
The 9th Grade Class of 2025 will be selling their Class of 2025 T-Shirts for this week only - March 28th to April 4th.  Link to purchase: https://pws.atlanticsportswear.com/product-cat/south-windsor-class-2025-fundraiser-grey-2022.
The store will open at 4:00 pm on Monday March 28th! The shirts are scheduled to be shipped out to our school one week later to keep the cost down. Mrs. Barrett will hand out the shirts to you as soon as they come in.
Put your school spirit on display!!! We will be wearing our shirts on Spirit Days so don't get left out! 

ATTENTION 9TH-10TH GRADERS: If you are interested in learning about membership to the National Honor Society, please come to a meeting on Wednesday, April 6th after school in the cafeteria
 
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:

Poetry Club will hold a meeting TODAY (Wednesday) after school in room 129. Join us to meet other poets, read and write poetry, and maybe come up with something you can share at the next Mind's Eye Coffeehouse! Join our Google Classroom using the code xisxy4t. All are welcome!
 
The Strategy Club will meet this Wednesday, March 30th after school, in room 7.
 
The Water Launch Club, an organization that strives to provide clean, drinkable water for villages in Africa, is hosting its first fundraising campaign at a Sandwich Shop at 1006 Sullivan Avenue in South Windsor on Wednesday, March 30th from 4:30-7:30 pm.  Come support this worthy cause. No flyer is necessary.
 
The Hunger Helper Committee is hosting a food drive for the SW Food & Fuel Bank from April 4th-8th. There will be a drop off box outside the main office for your donations.
