writing center for advice on how to start your essays. We are open Monday,
Wednesday, and Thursday from 2-3 in room 136. Get one on one help with your writing. No appointment is needed!
The Boys Soccer team is raffling off a parking spot for the 2022-2023 school year! Get your tickets today! That’s a free spot for next year! Buying tickets is easy – We take VENMO, cash or checks. Tickets are $5 each or get five tickets for $20. To get your tickets:
-Find a Senior SWHS Boys Soccer player in your lunch wave and buy tickets in school
-Checkout the flyers in the school lobby near the office for the Venmo & email address

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:
Have you ever wanted to fly a plane? Find out how and go for your own ride on Saturday, June 11th from 9 am - 3 pm at Meriden Airport (Rain Date: 6/12). The Young Eagles Rally encourages students ages 8-17 to explore aviation and learn all about what goes into flying and maintaining an airplane.
ATHLETICS:
Please note the date change: The annual Zebra Cup Tennis Tournament is now being held on Thursday, May 19th. Students can ask Staff members to participate with them in order to raise money for the South Windsor Food Bank. The cost for a team to enter is $10, but extra donations are welcome. Sign-up sheets are located on the door of Room 204.
On Tuesday, May 10th, Girls Track and Field won their meet against East Hartford. First place finishers were Sofia King, Alyssa Drenga, Serena Thaker, and Grace Smith in the 4X800, Alyssa Drenga in the Mile, Serena Thaker in the 800, Olivia Petgrave in the Two Mile, Maddie Hathorn in Pole Vault, Katelyn Baumgartner in High Jump, Sophia McCormack in Discus, and Bridget Carroll in Triple Jump.
