SCHOOL NEWS:

Attention students attending Senior Prom:
In order to attend student activities such as Senior Prom, students must be in school for at least 50% of the school day. Students who arrive at 7:25 are eligible to be dismissed at 10:17 (after period 4). A link to a google form was emailed to parents on Tuesday.  Please make sure your parents complete this form in order to grant you permission to be dismissed from school early.

For those students who arrive after 7:25, please be advised that it is important for you to be in school for at least half of the school day in order for your attendance at prom to be in good standing.  Failure to do so will prohibit your ability to attend. Advisors and administrators will be checking attendance throughout the day to ensure that all students attending prom meet these requirements.

Senior Prom will be held at Sonny’s Place in Somers, CT. While this is a formal affair, students will have access to the following Sonny’s Place amenities at no additional cost from 8:00-10:00 PM: zipline, batting cages, mini golf, carousel, virtual reality, XD Dark Ride, and the arcade. There will also be a DJ and photo booth. Any students who choose to bring bags with a change of clothes (this is not required) will have their bags checked upon entry into the venue.

Please know, the latest students can enter prom is 7:00 PM. Any student(s) arriving after that time will not be permitted.  In addition, once students decide to leave prom for the night, they will not be readmitted.

Any student taking AP/UCONN Economics next year must stop by room 160 before
school (6:40 AM - 7:20 AM) to pick up summer assignments from Mr. Mabey.
