CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:

Today, Monday, September 12th, the South Windsor Mock Trial team will be holding their first meeting right after school in room 135. All are welcome and no experience is needed. Not sure what Mock Trial would be like? Come and find out! Google Classroom code is vowhcfs
 

Attention Interact Members, our first meeting will be soon. Stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, we already have some events that need volunteers, so please check them out in last year's Interact classroom. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Howard in room 134.

Academic Support Club will be starting the week of September 19th in room 122A. If you need help with your homework, please join! We will have NHS tutors there to help you each day. We will provide a drink and a snack. The club meets every Monday to Thursday, from 2 to 3:30. There are no late buses on Tuesday - but there are late buses every other day. See Mrs. Barrett if you have any questions!

Looking to pen-pal and create a friendship with a female student in Kenya? Are you interested in discussing women's rights issues and advocating for female empowerment? Then Unified for Underprivileged Girls is the club for you! Please come to the informational meeting on September 15th from 2:00 to 3:00 in the seminar room if interested. Please contact Mrs. Fox or Olivia Liegl with any questions and we hope to see you there!

It was great to see all the new and returning enthusiastic Japanese Club members. Next month, we will be making traditional rice snacks wrapped in seaweed, in the kitchen. The Strategy Club will have its first meeting of the year this Wednesday at 2:00pm in the Media Center Classroom. The Strategy Club is a casual, drop-in gaming group for anyone interested in playing board games, card games, or Dungeons and Dragons.  We meet two Wednesdays each month.  Come check us out; new members are always welcome!
