Voter Registration Drive: On Thursday September 22nd from 8am-12pm, the South Windsor Registrar of Voters will be holding a Voter Registration Drive outside of the cafeteria. There will be the opportunity to register to vote for eligible individuals, and to learn about the process of registering. Please reach out to Mrs. Slogesky, Social Studies curriculum specialist with any questions.

South Windsor High School is having an open call for you to audition for the Fall Play. Sign up for auditions by Mrs. White's Room 144. Auditions will take place on Monday, September 19th in Room 144, starting at 2:15 p.m. See Mrs. White for details.

The library will be closed to all study halls and lunch waves on Wednesday, 9/13 due to picture day. Please plan accordingly.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:

Would you like to do community service and help provide safe and clean water for villages in Sub-Saharan Africa?  Then join the Water Launch Club.  Sign up for our Google Classroom code igygbt4  Our first meeting will be later in October.
  
If you want to help in adding hope to all and you like to paint, Join "Paint for Positivity". Our first meeting is on Thursday, September 22 from 2:15pm until 3:45pm in Room 121.  We are looking for students who would like to add more quotes above the lockers and add decorative elements to catch people’s eyes.  Our class code is pxjybzs. Hope to see you next Thursday.
 
Bobcat Robotics is ready to kick off another exciting season. If you are new to robotics and are looking to join this amazing club, please come to our informational meeting on Wednesday, September 21st in Room 12. If you are a returning member, please join us in Room 12 today after school. We are excited to see you all there.

A QR code is also posted on the display case for Science Olympiad in the Science Hallway. Mr. Kraus is available in room 210 to talk about the team and the expectations for competition. The meeting for new members will be on Thursday Sept 22nd at 2:45p.m.

South Windsor for the Local Kids is hosting their first meeting on Thursday, Sept 22nd in the Cafeteria. Do you want to help kids in our community by raising money for our local children's hospital and attending awesome events such as the volleyball marathon and the dance marathon? Come to our first meeting and bring your friends to find out more about this awesome club! Do you love watching, analyzing, and discussing films?  Then join the film club!  On Thursday, the film club will hold its first meeting at 2 pm in Room 127.  Join us to watch and discuss Raiders of the Lost Ark!

Join Italian Club (Google Classroom Code: jpvw2ye) and come to our first meeting on Wednesday, September 28th right after school in Room 226.  We will be having a snack, talking about what we'd like to do for activities this year, and opening applications for officers and the Italian Club Executive Board.  Please see Mrs. Zaccardelli in Room 226 with any questions.
