SCHOOL NEWS:

The Senior Class Photo will be taken on Thursday November 3rd at 1:30pm.  Seniors are to report to their 7th period class and wait for an announcement to report to the field.

Are you a good student, with a positive attitude, who has time to help a middle school student with their homework? Are you available Wednesdays after school starting November 30th? If you answered yes to these questions, apply to be a Jump Start Tutor! Join the Classroom with the code ck2tlao to access the application, which is due Friday, November 11th. Spots will fill up quickly, so apply today!
 
Attention Students: The Library will be closed during period 6 on Thursday 11/3 and Friday 11/4. 

Reminder! The Fall Play is running a Design Contest for the cover of its program. Complete your design and send it in to Mrs. White at [email protected] or drop it off to Room 144. You have until Monday, November 7th!
 
The second wave of Capstone presentations will be held after school on Tuesday, November 15th. In order to present in this wave, you must have all written work submitted to your Adviser’s Google Classroom by Monday November 7th. All of your work must receive a score of successful or highly successful. You will sign up to present by filling out a Google Form that will be posted on the Capstone Website. A schedule with presentation times and room assignments will be posted on the Capstone Website by Friday November 11th. Students who present during this wave are eligible for an Honor Cord.
 
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:

The Black Student Alliance (BSA) will have an Interest Meeting today in Room 205 from 2:15-3:15pm. BSA is a safe space for students to share their school and cultural experiences, and discuss current events. Interested students are encouraged to join the Google Classroom: ecwnhhf to stay up-to-date on all BSA upcoming meetings and events. Please see Mrs. Bravo, Mrs. Davis, or Ms. Mwangi for more information.
