The Senior Class Photo will be taken on Thursday November 3rd at 1:30.  Seniors are to report to their 7th Period class and wait for an announcement to report to the field.

Bonjour! The portal to register for the Quebec field trip is opened and the link is available in Google Classroom. The dates of the trip are from Friday, February 3rd to Monday, February 6th, 2023. Interested in STEM? Have strong writing skills? Want to stand out to college admission committees? Then the Medical and Scientific Research Club is right for you! Gain knowledge on a niche topic in medicine or science, improve your scientific writing skills, and get accepted for
publication! Through the guidance of our experienced mentors, you’ll be guided along the journey of writing either original research or a literary review to get accepted for publication. Additionally, you’ll be given a chance to network with professionals in the fields of your choice, whether it be well-accomplished scientists or local healthcare workers. Google Classroom code: 5ullbb4.  Our next meeting is on Monday, November 7th after school from 2:00-2:30 PM in Room 209. Please come prepared with a research topic. Hope to see you there!
 
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:

Grade 10 students who would like to be considered for the Hugh O’Brian Youth leadership (HOBY) program may nominate themselves by seeing Ms. Carty in the Career Center to pick up an application. HOBY is an Annual Spring Conference for students in Grade 10 who would like to participate in hands-on leadership activities and explore how their own personal leadership skills can make an impact in their local community. Two students will be chosen to represent South Windsor High School at the Connecticut Conference.
