SCHOOL NEWS:

Attention Seniors: Don't risk losing your late arrival or early release privileges! 
The next round of Capstone presentations will be held on January 24th and 25th (midterm week).  In order to present, the following criteria must be met:
All written work must be submitted to your adviser by January 18th;
All written work must be scored by your advisor with at least a “successful” on every component; 
You will sign up to present on the Capstone Website via a Google form.
Presentation times and locations will be posted to the Capstone website approximately 3 days before the presentation.
After the January wave, any remaining Seniors who have not completed Capstone may be reassigned to a structured study hall to work on their project.  Structured study halls may be scheduled during any study hall periods including late arrival or early release periods.

The 9th Grade Class of 2026 will host a fundraiser at a local fast food chicken specialty place on Wednesday, January 18th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1428 Pleasant Valley Road in Manchester. Please come support the Class of 2026! Details on What's New section of our website.
 
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:    
 
Unified for Underprivileged Girls is hosting a fundraiser at a local sandwich shop located at 100 Hemlock Avenue on Saturday, January 28th from 4:00  p.m.to 8:00 p.m. Be sure to come out and support our pen pals in Kenya by purchasing some delicious food!
 
SWFLC’s annual volleyball tournament to benefit Connecticut Children’s Hospital is on January 20th from 7 p.m-11 p.m. in the Gym. See you there!
