Two Staff members will be selected every month. They will be recognized at monthly faculty meetings and on the school website. Please be school appropriate with your nominations. You can nominate a Staff or faculty member on your class Google Classroom page. Reach out to Ms. Ullinger with any questions!

The next Italian Club meeting is on Wednesday, April 5th right after school in Room 105.  We'll be cooking and eating 4 different pasta and sauce recipes, salad, and bruschetta.  All are welcome, but space is limited, so save your spot by bringing $5 to Mrs. Zaccardelli in Room 226.

The Environmental Club is selling flowering bulbs to support the purchase of 2 trees which will be planted on school grounds. See Mrs. Eitel in Room 206 to purchase the bulbs from 3/10 to 4/10.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:

Any Grade 10 student who would like to be considered for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program, known as “RYLA”, can see Mrs. Carty in the Career Center to learn about how to apply. RYLA is a one day workshop on June 3rd during which students hear from a motivational speaker, participate in a roundtable discussion, and learn about the value of teamwork. South Windsor High School will select 2 students from the sophomore class to represent our community at the event.

Seniors – if you have recently been accepted into college or trade school, enlisted in the military, or made an employment plan for after graduation, please fill out the Google form in your Senior classroom. You may fill it out multiple times for as many acceptances as you receive. Submitting this form allows your good news to be shared on the screen outside of School Counseling and in our monthly newsletter. We would love to celebrate and announce your accomplishments! You can also scan the QR code in the main lobby display case or on the flier outside School Counseling.
