SCHOOL NEWS:

Juniors and Seniors who are parking in SWHS lots please pay attention to the following guidelines: 
-Stickers must be stuck to the windshield on the top left driver side. Passes may not be laying on the car dashboard or in any other location on the windshield
- The SWHS gold lot is sold out
- The SWHS Annex Maroon lot has spots available for purchase
- Students without parking passes may only park in Upper or Lower Duprey
- Students parking without a pass or in an incorrect lot may be ticketed or towed
- The speed limit on campus is 15 mph, parking passes may be revoked if speed limits are not   followed.

Understaffed Auditions- Open auditions for the tenor/bass a cappella ensemble Understaffed will be held on September 21st  in the Choir Room at 6:30 PM. Join the Google classroom for information! Class code 66ciadf.  

The Academic Support Club will start on Monday, September 18th in ANNEX 12. We are looking for National Honor Society juniors and seniors to hire as our tutors. We pay minimum wage and we meet every Monday to Thursday from 2 to 3:30. You will only have to work one day a week. Any NHS members who are interested, please see or email Mrs. Barrett at [email protected]. Also, anyone interested in joining - we provide a drink and a snack and help you with your homework. To join, look for the Google Form on the high school homepage.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:  

Math Team’s first meeting is Friday, September 15, at 2:10pm in Room 265. If you enjoy solving challenging math problems without a calculator, this is the team for you! We will discuss the upcoming season’s schedule, practices and opportunities to compete. Bring a charged Chromebook. Contact Mr. Brindisi with questions. Interested in working with clay? Want to try using a potter's wheel? Try Clay Club! We meet weekly starting this Thursday 2-3:30 in Room 6. Can't make it this week? Join our google classroom (nxcf56d) for updates.

The Science Olympiad team’s first meeting is on Thursday September 14th at 2:45 in Room 210.  See Mr. Kraus or Ms. Cotton for more information or join the google classroom.

The first Japanese Club meeting is next Wednesday, September 13, in Room 230.
We will discuss club activities, choose club leadership positions, learn Japanese and watch a Japanese movie. Japanese food will be provided.

The SADD Club would like to invite any Juniors or Seniors who have been active participants in the club for at least the last 2 years, to attend an informational meeting about current leadership opportunities. We will meet in the main HS LOBBY on Thursday, September 14th. Choose the time that works best for your schedule. Attend one meeting from either 12:45-1pm OR from 2:15 - 2:30pm. 

ATHLETICS:  

The Field Hockey team will host a fundraiser today, September 13th, from 4pm to 7pm at a sandwich shop located at 1006 Sullivan Avenue.
