SCHOOL NEWS:
The Equity SWHS Council meeting will be on October 26th from 2:15 to 3:00 p.m. in room 38 Annex. All student leadership is invited and all staff interested in joining are welcome. We would love to continue the work of pursuing awareness, engagement, empowerment, and embracing diversity in our school.
It’s Jack-O-Gram season! Share the spirit of kindness by sending your friends a gourd-eous pumpkin with a spooktacular message. Buy your pumpkins from an FBLA member or during Period 5 lunch waves from 10/16-10/27. You can buy 1 for $2, 2 for $3 or 3 for $5. They will be delivered on 10/31. See Ms Cruz with questions.
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
The Japanese Club meets on Wednesday, October 18th. Join us and learn to write your name in Japanese characters to display in our showcase, enjoy Japanese food and watch the Japanese anime movie "Castle in the Sky".
Do you want to learn about Entrepreneurship but were unable to fit the class into your schedule? Maybe you took Entrepreneurship already but are looking to reconnect with some of the content from class. Either way, we've got a club for you! Join us on Thursday, October 19th in Annex 17 from 2:15 - 3:45 PM to enjoy some entrepreneurship talk and a little "Shark Tank" with like-minded peers who are interested in Entrepreneurship but are not currently taking the class. Our Google Classroom code is 62gclzf. Bring a snack, relax, and have some fun while learning what makes venture capital such an important part of starting or growing a new business.
