SCHOOL NEWS:
Attention SWHS Community! December 8th is CCMC’s Pajama Day for the KIDS! Interact is challenging you and your homeroom to compete in our first annual PJ Palooza to be held on Thursday, December 7th. Students and teachers can donate at least one dollar and earn points for wearing specific pj attire like pj pants, matching pj outfit, slippers, bathrobes, sleep stuffies, etc. Bonus points will be awarded to homerooms with participating teachers. Points will also be awarded for specific monetary amounts that homerooms can collectively raise. Each grade level will have a winning homeroom with prizes including a student pizza party and duty coverage for the winning homeroom teacher by a SWHS admin! CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
The Mind's Eye Writing Contest deadline is this Friday, December 8th. You may submit using the QR code on any of our fliers, or by emailing Ms. Flachsbart.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:
Attention students: The Town of South Windsor is looking for a seasonal revenue assistant. Ideal candidates have strong math and customer service skills. The position requires processing payments and interacting with the public. The anticipated start date is December 26th. A flier with complete details is on the jobs board in the Career Center. Stop in to get application information. Resumes and letters of interest are due December 11th.
