Attention South Windsor High School students: On Tuesday, April 23th, we will be wearing yellow in honor of School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Interact Club members will receive half an hour of credit when they send a picture of their yellow outfit. Non-Interact members are also encouraged to wear yellow to show their love for their bus driver.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:

Come join the HOPE Club to celebrate DNA Day this Thursday, April 25th, in the back of the Media Center. We will be learning all about DNA, making DNA models and even competing for a fun prize! We hope to see you all there!

Are you a student interested in learning and sharing the language and cultures of various Hispanic and Latino countries? If so, join the Hispanic/Latino Student Alliance. This club aims to celebrate the various Hispanic and Latino countries that are represented here at South Windsor High School by creating a space for students to build community while sharing their culture. The Hispanic/Latino Student Alliance will have their first meeting on Wednesday, April 24th at 2:15PM in Annex Rm. 54. For more information on the club, reach out to Ms. Tobon in ANNEX 54.

The Cooking Club's theme for the month of April is “Think Spring”. We will be cooking on Thursday, April 25th in Room 105 at SWHS starting at 2:05 PM. The menu items are: strawberry lemonade, spring rolls, vegetable fried rice, sheet pan chicken and spinach sausage, Spring Rice Krispy Treats and Spring colored M&M sugar cookies.
